Alive To See It!
For the past few weeks, I’ve been completely consumed by the reunion of my favorite band ever, and GREATEST band ever, THE POLICE! I have followed this exciting news from rumor to reality, and now I plan on seeing them in concert. With every breath I take (on my ventilator, that is), I impatiently await my chance to purchase tickets to this incredible, historic event. Even though prices will be extremely steep, I will somehow scrounge up enough cash to secure my place. I’ve been waiting twenty-four years for front man Sting to come to his senses and reunite the Police. Sting is not very popular these days. His last big commercial record totally flopped, and for his latest CD he has been reduced to playing medieval lute music. He is playing a FREAKIN’ LUTE for crying out loud. Rock stars do not play lutes! I have been a huge Sting fan for years, but this lute shit is an embarrassment even to me! Sting has finally gotten back together with drummer Stewart Copeland and guitarist Andy Summers, and appears to want to be a rock star again. As my best friend says, “Now that the Police are touring again, Sting can sell out stadiums instead of K-Marts.” The Police are back, and poised to sell out major gigs around the globe! This is incredible! This reunion means so much to me, being that I have Duchenne muscular dystrophy and have already exceeded the average life span for people with this disease - I am now 40. I think maybe God has kept me alive for this long so I could see this Police reunion. I am elated beyond belief! I've lived for this!

Goods for you Scott i am happy for you.
I am very happy for you, i am also suffering from duchenne muscular dystrophy.
I am a H U G E STING fan and am equally elated to see the reuinion of the Police!
I am truly impressed by your fine taste in music and I also share in your excitement of seeing the Police reunite again after 23 years. However, I do not believe that the good Lord has kept you alive only to see Sting, Stewart and Andy go out on tour and thrill the masses. I find this comment somewhat offensive. I do believe that God is keeping you on this earth to faithfully hold vigil for your second favorite band of all-time to reunite; Culture Club.
hey did you get tickets?? If so, wow. You are so lucky.
I saw the police in college with the popularity of Synchronicity . With friends I was in the front row. Before ventilator.
If I could see them again, I totally would be there.

Scottso,
Good to see you so stoked to see the Police reunited. Sneaking in to see them at MSG in 1982 (I believe) with the Go Gos opening is a personal concert highlight til this day. Their first couple of albums were great. Enjoy the show.
